Your massage therapist will assess where treatment is needed, what may be causing dysfunction, and develop a treatment plan.  The treatment itself may involve some deeper techniques if indicated for your condition.

Therapeutic Massage

Deep Tissue Therapy is not a full body treatment, but rather an intensive massage session used to address specific conditions and areas of the soft tissue. It is an alternative approach to treat chronic pain and injury that has not improved from other massage modalities.

Contraindications for deep tissue: swelling, bruise easily, blood thinners, analgesics, history of blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, bone conditions, or during pregnancy.

The purpose of this gentle treatment is to help you relax: calm the nervous system, relieve stress and promote a sense of well being.

Relaxation Massage

for children 2-12 years old

Touch is essential to a child's development and sense of well-being.  Therapeutic touch stimulates the body in positive ways to help it grow and develop, while reducing stress.

Massage (2-12yrs old)

MLD is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid. Therapy is applied to your unaffected areas first to improve flow through the lymphatic system, making it possible for fluid to move out of the congested area.

We may have to adjust the appointment time if the prenatal bolster is overlapped by two clients.

Massage (maternity bolster)

Please wait at least 2 weeks after cesarean section to receive massage.

Your massage therapist will assess the most comfortable position for you to be in during your postpartum journey.  Postnatal massage helps relieve muscle tension, reduce swelling, and enhance well being during the first 12 weeks after birth.
